well if you want subtle (or not to short) layered then just tell your hair dresser you wont soft layers.

If you want really choppy short layers then tell your hair dresser you want a razor cut.

Your can also tell your hair dresser you want to layer with colour

heres an example: http://beauty.about.com/od/photosmediumh...

and you could get the same colours since your natural hair colour is the same as that girls. Also look at the other styles on that page.

and also a fringe or bang would look good

i would go for a sideswept fringe which is like a side fringe but it sweeps over more. or you could get a side fringe.

Hope i helped

i used to have hair like that. i got sideswept bangs, cut my hair a tiny bit above my shoulder (no layers), and dyed it dark brown. i got lots of compliments.

Depends on what looks good with your skin tone face shape. Maybe cut your hair at shoulder length with side bangs. And do a chestnut color. Ask your stylist what she thinks.

Maybe you should have chestnut, shoulder-length hair like Mandy Moore -

Inspiration for short hair cuts:

http://www.curly-hair-styles-magazine.co... (btw, you achieve this style by getting a perm with the largest rods. It lasts for 6 months and it is very easy to style, you just scrunch it).

http://sports.espn.go.com/i/magazine/new... (this style is very versitile because it's bangs parted to the side, so you can always move them forward or to the side for a completely different look)

the answer to boring hair is layers. its hard to say what would work for you since we dont know what you actually look like to know what would compliment your best features. the best thing you can do is go to a good salon and get some sug. from the proffesionals. if you want an axample of something easy to styke and maintain heres something thats always worked for me http://www.connectstores.com/wigsrusltd/...
