I have dark brown close to black hair, it's about an inch past my shoulders and has lots of layers. I usually straighten my hair everyday but I'm sick of it looking so flat, straightning takes everything out of it. Thanks In advance

if u don't want straight and u want volume i would take some gel and stick it in ur hair. it will make it look like u curled it. u could put ur hair up halfway, all the way up, and u could put it into a bun. or if u r in a rush what u can do is take a small part of ur hair and take a barrette and pin it back. if u have bangs u can put those back to or leave them out. that's wat i do with my hair if i dont have enough time in the morning. and it even doesn't take that long.

ok, i have my hair in lots of layers as well, and straightening your hair is what most people do, if I'm in a hurry in the morning for school, i grab my hair up in a ponytail, with my hair straight and let down bangs on the side and straighten them you can always add a thick head band that goes with your outfit, now wen its down, you can always flip your hair OUT with a curly iron, OR flip it IN, or you can flip in the top layers, and flip out the bottom layers, or vice versa! there are many ways.. you just have to be creative, try your own stuff! BE UNIQUE!!

try scrunching it! when you get out of the shower spray some mousse and gel in it and grasp it up wards.. it will curl it.. then dry it, spray it, and wala!

or u could spiral curl it after you straighten it! it looks like a spring but is super cute!

if you already have straight hair but not straight enough (like I do).. straighten it and then when you are done.. flip your head over... tousle your hair with your finders and spray it with hairspray.. flip your head back over and comb your hair.. there.. it has some volume!...

well.... u can get ur hair wet (like a shower) then, while u blow dry u put hair spray in it..... while u do that u blow dry inside of ur hair..... it well loook so hot...... i do it all the time and veryone says it looks soooooooo hot!!!!!
