I have thick (talking really thick!!) long wavy hair. For the past 5 years I have worn it in a pony tail. I really want cute hair. I am so tired of wearing it up! Any suggestions? I am planning on having it cut, but like longer hair. Thanks!!

go a hairdresser and ask them what would look best on you =)

maybe get a few inches off.. it would be easier for you to take care of if it was shorter %26amp; they can give you ideas at your hair salon.

I have the same hair u do and I went through the same "hair in a pony-tail" stage. I think you should go get layers and get side-bangs. It will really be a big difference and you will throughly enjoy it.

you should get it like medium length and some layers and ask to get it thined

You could probably get it cut about chest length and thinned out so it won't be as thick. Also, I would suggest getting layers, as that would also remove some of the bulk. I have really thick hair too, so when I go get my hair cut, I have to do the same thing.
