LOL..... The other day I wore my #3 Jordans the red and black ones with skinny jeans and a red shirt for a special occasion. I did Shirley Temple curls. It went right with my outfit. What could also work is if you Bob it up with or without curls. And it's not a hip-hop look, it's a "Fly" look....lol.

For the ends, I'd say a 'chestnut brown'...(kinda a very dark warm brown).

For all over colour...always go lighter than you are...going darker makes roots a HUGE maintenance problem.

I know the feeling. I wore my hair in a ponytail for MANY years. If your hair is straight, I highly recomend lots of layers and sweepy bangs. If your hair is curly, use good products (not from drugstore) because they will make your curls absolutely beautiful. Only have light layers though, you don't want to look chunky. For all hair types use a frizz serum. If you need a cut, please go to a professional salon. NOT Hair Cuttery or anything similar. They will butcher your hair. Also, headbands are in right now and there are tons of cute ones. Hope this helps!

I have red hair too - it looks great with a few highlights in it .. ask in a salon about putting half-head foils through it. It will make you a lighter red/blond colour without damaging your hair and will make you look slightly sun kissed.

If you have a roundish face get some layers cut in your hair - especially around the front to frame your face and accentuate your cheekbones.

Divide your hair into three sections; one on each side and one in the back.

Make a simple braid with the back section, then make a french braid with each of the side sections. Make sure the free part of the braid is not too far down the back of your head.

Next take the simple braid in the back and make a bun in the center of the back of your head. It will act as a anchor for the other two braids so be sure to use strong bobby pins.

Then take one of the ends from the french braids and wrap in around the bun to make it bigger.

Finally, wrap the next one around to make a large braided bun, that people will wonder how you made it.

I can normally do this within 20 minutes. I find it easiest with the hair still wet, but have done it with dry hair. Once the hair is past the middle of my back this do is difficult because my hair gets too heavy.

let's face it, if you are 40, you probably don't want pigtails and if you are 13 you don't want any bee hive looking thing.

2 ponytails one on top of the other (vertical). take a 1 inch or so section and put a hairpin around it (so the hair is inside of the hairpin) about 3 or 4 inches from elastic band and pin toward to elastic band with a twist ( to make a curl ). keep going and blend together. easier to do to someone than to do to yourself.

even though you have layers, get even more! cut it about half an inch above your shoulders in kind of an a-line, but not all the way. then put your hair in a ponytail and leave your bangs and the front parts of your hair out(the layery parts). and also, part your hair to the side and make sure you have bangs(cuz their so cute! lol)

I think it would look good if you don't straighten it and you put it in a messy ponytail with clips holding back the shorter layers, and the bangs down, straightened. get your hair frosted, it's kind of like highlights but it looks way better. i would either get a light blonde, (but not bleach blonde), or a light brown.

I have curls too. I get my hair layered so when it's natural it's just below the shoulders. As for bangs I like to have side bangs that are at the center of my nose bridge (in length I mean), I get then feathered into my layers. I get tons of compliments from this hair style! You would probably like it, it's really easy to manage. Hope this helped :)

You can add a touch of sophistication to your ponytail by wearing it low, wrapping a section of your hair around the elastic and securing it with a pin.

Hair bands are in this season. Plain thin ones are very classic. Or you can use a scarf for a retro '60s look. Wear one w/ a low ponytail. Conceal the elastic by wrapping a wide section of hair around it %26amp; securing it w/ a bobby pin to make the updo more sophisticated %26amp; finished.

Make a ponytail that sits a bit high up. Section it into 3 %26amp; curl each section to make a loose curly bun.

But, lately, I've been seeing a lot of people wearing their hair up in a ponytail and then putting one of the colored bands in it. It's also super-cute. wash your hair the night before. put it in little braids (how many every you have patience for). take them out in the morning. finger comb and you will have crimped hair.
