well first get it layered if you want and you seem to like it with alot of detailed cuts in your hair tell the hair dresser that you want your hair layered alot with detail lol

get side swept bangs (if you don't know how it looks like just go to yahoo images and type in side swept bangs they show really good pictures of them lol)

Well,

I just had a hair cut up to my shoulders 2.

What I do everyday is either straighten it and make curls at the end to flare out, or make a half pony tail (half way at the top)

and leave the bangs out.

If I were you I wouldn't do anything too crazy. Just make sure your hair has good body. In other words - flat hair is bad! Hair pulled back really tight and flat is nasty. Make sure hair is clean and don't use too much product - you don't want to look greasy and limp. Just try to keep it simple and natural and you'll look great!

Ok your going to need:

small/narrow toothed comb

hairspray

soft brush

First make sure your hair is straight. You can't tease curly hair. Second take about an inch of hair off the crown of your head. Hold it up and back comb. Back combing is like combing backwards. So comb down. If you get a giant poofy ratty knotty thing then thats good. If it stays up then spray it with hairspray. If it doesn't stay up on its own, brush it out and start that piece over. Repeat this on the crown of you head and the back. Remember to spray hairspray on it. Once you have hair sticking up in the back and if you look like the statue of liberty your in good shape. Spray the whole thing with hairspray. But don't like drown your hair with hairspray. Then take the brush and start to brush over the back-combed hair. Just gently brush over your hair. If you brush too much then the rattyness will be brushed out and your hair will be back to the way it was before you started this whole process. Once you have awesome teased volumized hair, give it another spray over with the hairspray, accersorize with a cute clip, bow orheadband and your good to go.

Tip- I use Garnier Fructis Full Control hair spray. Its awesome.

Put some voluming mousse in your hair after towel drying it, alcohol free is better on the hair, and buy a diffuser that fits on the end of your blow dryer. It does not blow the hair around, it diffuses the air so you can hold it in one place and scrunch (squeeze handfulls at a time) your hair while drying it. You can hold your head upside down and dry and scrunch also, that adds volume! Then after,set it with some scrunching spray like L'oreal or the Aussie scrunch spray. For sure you should try the diffuser!

Get those headbands that are stretchy and skinny. Pull hair back with those. For your frizz get Garnier anti-frizz serum,. its about 5 bucks. It works wonders for flyaways and you can thank me later. Its fabulous.

I think putting your hair in a slicked back ponytail can stop your hair from frizzing while in class. After class, use a round brush and comb and comb out really good until it's totally dry (the brushing will introduce air into your hair to get rid of any residual moisture. It shouldn't get messed up too bad if you do this. I have kinky hair and I always would do this to keep my hair straight after gym in high school. If you want to be totally prepared, bring your blow dryer and zap that moisture out with a lukewarm setting (not cold). You shouldn't need to re-flat iron it.

Also bring some shine spray or some type of spray moisturizer to give it some sheen afterwards that the sweat may have dulled out.

What I like to do is wet my hair, scrunch with mousse and blow dry. Make your part uneven, and have your bangs or at least some hair off to one side. Take a cute pin and pin back the side without the hair over your face and pin it close to your ear. It is simple and really cute.

I think it will look better, if you add layers, make it more choppy,

I like your cut. If you want something different you could get some side bangs, but only if you are okay with straightening them every day. I have curly hair too and last summer I cut it short, like about chin-length. At least on my head, it didn't look good. Now I straighten it a lot though, so I'm going shorter. But I like your curls and they look really good how you have them. You could cut it a little angled so it's longer in front and shorter in back slightly. I love your hair the way it is though.

Ok so my hair was past my sholders and I went in to get a trim. Well I knew that my hair was in bad shape, I have dyed it every color of the rainbow and permed in not to long ago. So my hair was pretty dead. I could have spend a bunch of money and conditioned it, but I went the oppisite direction. I cut it all off!!! Now it is about 2 in long, which is not a huge deal I had my hair short all through high school. Now the problem is I can't figure out how to wear it. you can slick it forward or to the side... it sounds ridiculous but my friend has very short hair and thats what she does for work. it looks very nice. oh and add a small and cute clip to the side if you slick it. and when she just at the movies or home she just spikes it. when your hair is really short, spikes dont look like too "15 year old"-ish.

You are really pretty! If you are preppy, and want a change, then you could dye your hair a dark brown, or get low lights. As for cutting your hair, you could get it cut short, but no shorter then shoulder length. You could get straight across bangs. Or even a different color tip, like pink or blue or something. Yeah man, I feel your pain--i did bangs and they've become a bit of a hassle (my hair is curly too). Try some nice long layers--that's what I'm going back to. Start them right around or under your chin and work your way down. It brings body to your hair when you do it curly and it looks awesome when it's straight. Hope this helps ya!

I think a short cut, longer in front and a slight shave in the back. Since its shorter you can try different colors and change it up often without over drying like with longer hair. Well, I have had medium length hair with sidebangs, long hair with sidebangs, and now I have above the shoulder length hair with sidebangs. I liked all of these styles, and sidebangs look good on pretty much everyone. If you have the right face shape, straight across bangs would be cute too.

okay... so back in May I cut my hair some.. I was just starting to grow it out and decided to get extensions.. i've done the glue in kind before but this time I went to the salon to do fusion... the extensions turned out to be really dried out and looked horrible because of the quality. My hair on top was shiny and the extensions were dried and dull. In order to get the extensions I had to get my hair thinned and texturized (something I promised myself i would never do again after 2 bad expierences last year doing this).... anyways i get the extensions taken out this week and am scared of what its going to look like... I have hair to my shoulders and now its going to be really layered... I'm thinking of trying bangs... or maybe a shorter look. Any suggestions? I've included a couple pics with long hair (only recent pics i have).... any ideas of cute hair styles i should do are welcome!!!

hmm...I think you should definently take the extentions out and go for a maybe 2 inch layer, but make sure its soft enough, you don't want it to look too severe. also, the bangs could be shorter, maybe a little bit below eye level?

I love your hair! It's so pretty, why would you want to change it? The color is perfect. Maybe you could cut it one inch, but not more than that. Your bangs are kinda long too. Get them cut 1-2 inches.

First thing you should do (if you haven't already) is deep condition your hair. You should use special shampoo and conditioners for color treated hair especially because you went to blonde. Also there are two easy options sp that you don't damage your hair by dying it too much. There is a hair powder by Bumble %26amp; Bumble that I think a lot of places online or even drugstores might sell it depending on where you live. Also there is a root touch up that will only only be applied to the roots therefore not messing with the rest of your hair that's dyed by Clairol called Nice n Easy root touch up. It comes with an applicator to make sure you only touch up the roots so makes it simple enough to do at home.

Here's what i do...take notes lol

-wash my hair with a good mild shampoo, i use Matrix sleek and shine shampoo and condtioner. Also use conditioner when you're going for a certain style cuz conditioner makes hair stay good.[ it smells good too]. you can get it at any drugsotre or wal-mart or slaons.

-pat my hair dry with a towel but leaving my hair damp while i add a heat protector. I use Paul Mitchell's Seal'n'shine heat protector.

-then i leave my hair to dry completely until every strand of my hair is 100% dry. i dont blow dry cuz it damages my hair easily. but you can if you want to for quicker use.

-divide my hair into little sections, then i flat ironer right away for about 30 seconds each hair part. make sure you get a cermatic flat ironer. i use revlon and it works very good for my hair.

-then i apply paul mitchells gloss drops cuz it makes my hair frixx free and stays shiny

My hair is wavy and so thick too. I have had my hair short for years. I have to get it cut for at least 3 months. As I get older I think it is getting wavier. I got me some gel that supposed to make it straight. Well I do use a blow dryer like it says and it does feel a little straight, but it still isn't straight like I want it to be. I am going to try to use a flat iron when my hair grows out some more and see what it does. I have coworkers who say they use straighter and flat iron and their hair is straight.

What I did was let my hairdresser do what she wanted and she ended up cutting it to about my chin and I use Mark Staighting cream (Avon) and a wet to straight straighter from wal-mart. I put in a leave spray conditnor, then blow dry my hair, then put the cream in my hair and straightin it. I love it Hope this helps

I have been cursed with thick, uncontrollable hair as well. Mine happens to be naturally curly, so I've got the frizz thing going as well. But I know something that works great for either hair type...Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum. You can buy it at any one of your local beauty salons. You just put a quater-sized amount in your hair after you get out of the shower and smoothe throughout. It really tames hair down and adds shine. It does cost about 16 dollars a bottle, so if you're looking for something cheaper, try CitreShine. You can buy it at Wal-Mart or Walgreens and it's only about 5 dollars I think. Since your hair is really thick, it's probably good to keep it shorter so you can work with it more easily. Try choppy styles...I think those are in right now, but I'm not really sure.

my friend has REALLY thick and curly hair. she has it cut in a few layers and shoulder length. she says it takes her an hour to thouroughly dry it so she takes a shower around 4pm and lets it air dry, brushing occasionally. the next morning she uses a Chi to sraighten it (only bc Chi gets hottest out of all the irons she's used, so it works best) and she uses minimal stuling products, just some "smoothing serum" called Dfrizz by Bumble and Bumble. hope that helps u!!

lol, i feel like i answer a question like this once a day! lol ok, im not sure if your hair is curly but either way you can use pantene for women of color, it has extra moisturizers for uncontrollable hair and hair that s prone to damage and dryness. comb your hair while the conditioner is in it and then rinse it after, then put your styling products, maybe a curling creme for curly hair, a sleek creme of straight hair, gel. if your hair is curly let it air dry and dont keep touching it. t should stay close to your head- not totally flat but not poofed out! if all else fails- headbands are very much back in style!

I have naturally curly, thick hair, and the best way to get it curly like that is to wash it and then spray it with scrunch spray by aussie. After you get it all scrunched, spray it with spray gel and then blow dry it just until it's dry but still a little damp. Then you are good to go..Good luck and have fun!

YOur hair is the hair i wish i had. to lighten in up with natural highlights you can put lemon juice in it and then lay in the sun.

once a week put olive oil in your hair and wrap it up and let it sit for 15 min. to add shine.

styles

1. put moose in it and let to hang like beach waves. and put a little shine oil in it to give it a little punch.

2. gat a skinny black head band and the put your hair in a high pony tail. with the curl it makes it look pretty.

3. a low pony tail to the side with the headband.

4. it you have bangs. do some up and some down with your bangs out. you can do this with straight or curly hair. i like both.

5. straight down is also very pretty.

if you are using a straightener make sure to do a deep conditioner atr least once a week. i know this sounds gross but put two eggs in your hair and let it sit for 15min and then make sure to rinse out all of it. after that wash it to get out any left over egg. this really does work. I have been using Silicon Mix. It is available in hair stores, but if you can't find it here is the web roundbrushhair.com. It is a Dominican hair product website. I have been using this for almost a year now and it has made my hair so manageable,bouncy,lustrous, and it smells good too. I get compliments all the time. I wash my hair once a week I apply the conditioner to my hair I put a plastic cap on and I sit underneath a hooded dryer for about 5-10 minutes. I rinse and blow dry my hair piece by piece and presto my hair is shiny and smells wonderful. Try this and I promise you you will never want to use another hair product ever again.

what always looks cute is pulling a little strip of your hair back in the middle and use a little clip to clip it back. what a lot of people do at my school is tie really long, colored or patterned, almost shoe lace looking ribbon around a half pony-tail or like i just said a strip of hair in the middle. and if you straighten your hair, blow-dry your hair first upside down, then worry about getting it to look good with a straight-ner. And like someone said rinse it in milk to strengthen your hair. also there is this peicing wax, it is awesome, it's not stick or anything, but you rub it in your palms and rub it through you hair near ther roots, then you can use it to style any big fly away peices! hope i helped! good luck!

Noooooooo girl don't use any of that stuff you will damage your hair. I have wavy hair and I had the same problem you did. I used "Herbal essences" the 2 in 1 (shampoo %26amp; conditioner). That will make you hair a lot better. That keeps your hair from drying, dead ends, and most important real fluffy hair. If your hair is kind of wavy cut your hair in different sizes I don't know how you called that but that will make your hair look better , but make sure you put Mousse I use the "rave" brand works really well. well, my hair is long brown and wavy too. At first I hated it cause i didnt know what to do with it. But I finally found a solution and it makes it into the prettiest curls ever. I use dove hydrating shampoo and conditioner. I brush my hair in the shower to get rid of the tangles and cause it easier to brush in the shower. My hair gets kind of poofy if i dont do anything to it after getting out though. So i towel dry my hair ( although it never really gets dried) and then i get some olive oil and work it into my hair. I make sure to get the roots and the ends too. Then I brush the oil through my hair and put it into a bun. I dont wash the oil out and it doesnt leave any grease or smell. It gets absorbed by the hair. I usually go take a bath before i go to bed so after i do all that i go to sleep. I wake up i the morning and let it down. It still kind of damp but it still looks good. Mid day and it is dries into wavy curls. I usually let it down but sometimes i put it into a messy bun or a high ponytail. I also use hair clips, ties and hair accessories for a change. Dont take a bath everyday cause its bad for your hair. Also, it looks better when its dry and not wet all the time. I also dot brush my hair everyday cause it kills the curls; only when i take baths (which is once a week --- that is when i wash my hair --- i shower almost every day but i dont wet my hair --- i wear a cap or tie a scarf around it or something)

if you already have straight hair but not straight enough (like I do).. straighten it and then when you are done.. flip your head over... tousle your hair with your finders and spray it with hairspray.. flip your head back over and comb your hair.. there.. it has some volume!...

well.... u can get ur hair wet (like a shower) then, while u blow dry u put hair spray in it..... while u do that u blow dry inside of ur hair..... it well loook so hot...... i do it all the time and veryone says it looks soooooooo hot!!!!!
